There was a brief power outage today, during which the server was unavailable. The city decided to replace the power pole behind my house today while I was at work. Maybe it's just me, but the electricity seems a lot snappier...

Mail server has been acting strangely since Thursday. Decided to move over to Postfix for the time being. We'll see how that goes. Also, tomorrow is April Fools' Day, so get ready for fake news articles.

Installed Mac OS X 10.2 last night. MySQL is broken. Will need to recompile and install, but don't have the time right now. Will get to it within several days. Please bear with me.

I've updated Apache, PHP, and MySQL to the latest versions, including any security updates for the aforementioned programs and for the system. Had the cable company send a serviceman come to check out the cable modem, so speeds should be back to normal for the time being. I believe I've finally fixed the problems that would require me having to start the database and mail servers manually after every reboot.

I'm getting some weird activity spikes on my web server, but haven't traced the source, yet. I may have to restart the Web server every so often if it keeps happening.

Site was down for a couple of hours due to network maintenance. Hopefully, transfer speeds should be a little quicker.

Still having problems with my mail server. Should be working again. May intermittently go down as I try to figure out the problem.

Happy New Year! If anyone has been trying to send me e-mail, my mail server was on the fritz so you would've most likely received an error. It's now fixed, so my e-mail address should be working again.
